Reconciliation Statue

Richmond, VA

The Reconciliation Statue is located at the corner of 15th Street and Main Street and is one of the highlights of the Richmond Slave Trail through the city. The site features a statue representing two people hugging as well as a marble waterfall feature showing the slave triangle. It is worth noting that there are three castings of the statue represented at this site; the other two in Liverpool, England and Benin, West Africa complete the slave trade triangle.

Byrd Concession Building

The Byrd Concession Building is a structure placed at the edge of Swam Lake in Byrd Park. The building houses restrooms and a concession stand for patrons visiting the park.

Pole Green Park Concession Building

The concession building at Pole Green Park was constructed to serve as a restroom facility and concession building for people attending baseball games at Pole Green Park.

James Monroe Visitor’s Center

Located on the site of James Monroe’s birth in Westmoreland County, this building provides a place for visitors to reflect on the life and accomplishments of the country’s fifth president while exploring the historic landmark.

Twin Hickory Library Café

As an example of a tenant upfit project, Brooks & Co created a 1,020 SF café within the Twin Hickory Library in Glen Allen, VA. The project consisted of a light food preparation area, a serving counter, and a seating area for the library’s patrons.
